On an update to our previous post on yard waste pick-up: The HOA board has been in touch with Waste Pro and confirmed about their change to pick-ups.
Waste Pro will pick up leaves/yard waste in plastic bags, but will not take the bags. They will empty you yard waste into their truck and leave the bags behind. If you want to have them pick up everything, you will need to use biodegradable yard waste bags.
And don’t forget that this Saturday (March 30th) is our Community Garage Sale starting at 8 AM.
Don’t forget our Spring Community Yard Sale is this Saturday.
We just received confirmation that FEMA will be here tomorrow (Saturday, October 21st) to pick up yard debris. We understand the community yard sale is that day, but the HOA did not want to delay this much needed pick-up when they gave us a date.
Please do not mix construction debris (if you have any) with your yard debris! FEMA has said they will NOT take construction debris! Please keep it separate and let them remove the hurricane debris.
The gates will open tomorrow morning at 8 AM for our community garage sale.
Also on Sunday the 22nd we have our BBQ at the club house from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Pleas stop by and join us!
Due to the weather forecast for rain on Saturday, we are moving the community yard sale to the following Saturday, October 21st.
Our Community Barbecue is scheduled for Sunday, October 22nd, 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Come to the Club House for food, music, and face painting for the kids!
A reminder that our community yard sale is next Saturday 8:00 am to 2 :00 pm.
On the subject of yard waste: our HOA continues to contact Waste Pro each day asking for an update on when they will collect our debris from Irma. Sadly, they are telling us it could be 3 more weeks before it gets removed.
Our Pools will be reopening Friday mornining at 9 AM. Thank you for your patience at this time while repairs were made.
Also, our community garage sale will be Saturday, October 14th.
One of our residents who participated in last Saturday’s yard sale sold someone a “Crazy Cart” toy and needs to get in touch with them. If you or a family member purchased this toy, please reply to this post or email us and I will forward you the resident’s phone number.
We hope everyone who took part in the yard sale had success. If you are left with large items you could not sell and want them carted away by the city, please call Solid Waste Operations at 352-343-3776 to find a hauling service that can pick up these types of items.
